Next Meeting and Other Upcoming Events
2020 HCCA Membership Meetings are on the third Wednesday of each month (except November and December) from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at 12 Medstar Blvd, Bel Air, MD. We meet in the first floor conference room of MedStar Health.
Wednesday, January 15, 2020, 6-8 p.m.: First Meeting of 2020! Speakers: Allison and Dan Corbett on 2020 legislation to shrink the carbon footprint of Maryland agriculture.
Wednesday, Jan 8, 7:00 p.m.: Free Film: “Rising” at the Maritime Museum in Havre de Grace, MD. The film discusses the U.S. military’s response to climate change’s impact on sea level rise. Hosted by the Havre de Grace Green Team.
Sunday, Jan 12, 4-6 p.m.: “Stories of Bringing Habitate Home”. Speaker: Dr. Douglas Tallamy, University of Delaware, expert on insects and native plants. Location: Anita Leight Estuary Center, 700 Otter Point Rd, Abingdon, MD.
